2022 Conference – Sea Change: Human and Climate Influences on our Maritime Past (18-21/11/2022)

The Nautical Archaeology Society (UK), Diving Ireland and the CHERISH Project co-hosted a two-day conference showcasing the diversity within our maritime environment and highlight traditional and state-of-the-art technology and methodologies employed in understanding our maritime past and how this might be impacted by future changes. The Sea Change 2022 Conference included multidisciplinary approaches and how cross-border and community engagement enrich our understanding of coastal, archaeological and climate challenges. Furthermore, maritime papers exploring and protecting our vulnerable underwater and coastal heritage were presented. The conference was held at Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, Ireland, 19 – 20/11/2022 (with events on 18th and 21st).
